Motorcycle Course

[vc_toggle title=”Do I need prior motorcycle experience?” el_class=”su-faq”]No experience whatsoever is required. The Pre-Learner course is specifically designed for complete beginners. Your instructor will guide you through everything step-by-step from the very basics of bike control.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do I need to bring my own motorcycle?” el_class=”su-faq”]No. A motorcycle is provided as part of your course fee. We also provide helmets and gloves. You just need appropriate protective clothing (long sleeves, long pants, ankle-covering footwear) and photo ID.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What is the minimum age?” el_class=”su-faq”]You must be at least 16 years and 6 months old on the day of your course. You must be 16 years and 9 months when you visit Service NSW to have your Learner Licence issued.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How long does the course take?” el_class=”su-faq”]Two half-day sessions, each approximately 3.5 hours. Many riders complete both in one day. You can also book them on separate days.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Is there a written test?” el_class=”su-faq”]No. The Pre-Learner course is entirely practical, on-range training. You will need to pass a separate knowledge test at Service NSW when applying for your Learner Permit.[/vc_toggle]

[vc_toggle title=”What do I receive at the end of the course?” el_class=”su-faq”]A Certificate of Completion. Present this at Service NSW along with passing a knowledge test to have your Motorcycle Learner’s Permit issued.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I ride a scooter instead of a motorbike?” el_class=”su-faq”]Scooters are available at most locations but not at Eastern Creek or Loftus. Confirm availability when booking or call 1300 366 640.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What happens after I get my Learner Permit?” el_class=”su-faq”]Hold your Learner Permit for at least 3 months (no more than 12 months) then complete the Pre-Provisional Course and MOST skills test to apply for your P1 licence.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Can I use my own helmet and gear?” el_class=”su-faq”]Yes. Bring your own approved helmet and gloves meeting Australian standards (AS/NZS 1698).
