To be eligible for a TAS motorbike licence, you must:
- Be 16 years and 6 months old.
- Be a resident of Tasmania.
- Successfully complete the Road Rules Knowledge Test at Service Tasmania prior to attending a Pre-Learner Motorcycle Training Course. (practice test is available here )
- Must not have a suspended or cancelled licence.
- Must be able to provide proof of photo ID at the course.
- Be in a medically fit condition. If otherwise, contact our Customer Service Team for assistance.
