I was very nervous looking around for which place had the most fair instructors and I ended up here. I had Karl as my instructor and I had an amazing experience and he actually wants you to pass.

The staff is great and the training instructors are very experienced. Covered minute details during training with practical exposure and attention to every individual. Price was also quite reasonable. Training bikes could have been more comfortable as they use Suzuki 125CC and with sporty features are not the best for day training.

Had an amazing experience starting my motorbike journey with Stay Upright. I went from not knowing how to ride at all to getting my learners, all thanks to Ryland and the team.

Ryland is an incredible instructor who makes you feel comfortable and supported from the start. He genuinely cares about each student’s safety, while also understanding the anxieties and emotions that can come with learning to ride. He also cracked a few jokes along the way which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and helped calm the nerves.

Would highly recommend Stay Upright and especially Ryland to anyone looking to start riding!

Ryland was our instructor, he was calm patient and ensured that nerves settled when they got heightened. Made sure I understood what was going on and made sure that if any questions were asked you were heard and not made to sound silly or dumb. Would definitely recommend Ryland as your instructor!!!

I had an amazing experience with Stay Upright and my instructor Ryland. I’m Brazilian, and he was extremely patient, explaining everything to me as many times as needed. As someone from overseas, I found the class very complete, clear, and I felt super safe throughout. On top of that, my group was just amazing — we all shared the same positive feeling and left really happy at the end. Highly recommend!

The most amazing experience, I attended a 2 day course with Rylan, I had high expectations for myself for someone with next to no experience.. I ended up horrifically tense and anxious from the start. Rylan was the most warming, calming, honest person.
He took us all under his wing as his own, I truely couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

Delivered by accredited M-GLS instructors at our Werribee training centre. We train new riders every day, and most start with zero experience.

How do you get a motorcycle licence in Victoria?

In VIC you complete the two-day MPA course to get your Learner Permit, hold it for 3+ months, complete the Check Ride at least 1 month before your final assessment, then complete the MLA to earn your full licence. This is the VicRoads M-GLS pathway.

What courses does Werribee offer?

Werribee offers the full M-GLS pathway: Learn to Ride ($129), MPA two-day learner permit course ($525), Check Ride ($279), and MLA licence assessment ($279). A combined Practice & MLA is also available ($359).

Fuel prices are rising

Your car is costing you more than you think
Fuel pump hose

With fuel prices continuing to climb, thousands of Australians are making the switch to motorcycles — and it's not hard to see why. Bikes use a fraction of the fuel a car does, and the savings don't stop there. Lower registration costs, cheaper insurance, and free or discounted parking add up fast. A motorcycle licence could be one of the smartest financial moves you make this year.
