ATV courses

Stay Upright provides a one day course with participants being awarded a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for unit RTC2306A - Operate Vehicles (ATV) - from the Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management.

Are you aware of your Occupational Health & Safety responsibilities?

The ATV has assumed the role of the horse or the utility on many Australian farms. There are many potential risks and dangers associated with ATV operation.

A research project funded by the National Health and Safety Commission identified ATV use as a major cause of on-farm injury. Over 97% of respondents / riders indicated that they had never completed a formal rider training course. Our ATV training packages are specifically designed to improve risk awareness and management.

We conduct training for private, industry and government bodies throughout Australia including the National Parks and Wildlife Service, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Land and Water Conservation, Rural Fire Services, Fire Brigades, Councils and TAFE. The ATV Rider Course is a hands on course in the field.
