Theory Seminar
Our theory places emphasis on developing mental skills, attitude, self analysis and a systematic approach to defensive riding.
Our presentation at the Seminar will set the riders' minds in gear to achieve a safer riding future on the public street, while being able to enjoy their motorcycling even more.
Practical Day on Circuit
Street riders should NOT feel that they will be intimidated by the thought of going onto a circuit.
At no time is there any testing or need to perform during the 8 hours.
The practical day covers many aspects of riding and technique. Throughout the course we continually explain the exercise then demonstrate the wrong way then the correct way. We pride ourselves in being able to analyse WHAT riders are doing and are able to help them to become more aware of their limitations and techniques.
The morning session starts with a demonstration on manoeuvring (Body English), normal stops, quick stops, braking, counter steering, slaloms etc.
The afternoon session in cornering is a very enjoyable learning process, with explanations and demonstrations in HOW and WHY you should do things at speed.
Confidence is built up with the riders being able to follow the instructor at a pace which is suitable to the rider. A chance to lead the instructor on laps to be able to have an assessment of the rider's technique as a result.
